Contrary to popular belief, the accounting and audit profession is not only about debits and credits - it is about adding value to their client. In this one hour (50 minutes long for one hour CPE as per NASBA) presentation, Ralph Villanueva will draw on his experience as an accounting, audit and IT professional to highlight recent cybersecurity and AI developments, the opportunities they can make the most of and the risks they should mitigate as they continue to add value to their clients in particular and the community in general.

About The Speaker
Ralph has saved his publicly listed employers from financial, operational and
reputational peril since 2010, by ensuring compliance with relevant IT security and data privacy regulations and requirements, as well as providing
actionable insight gained from professional experience and from earning
relevant IT and non-IT certifications such as the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Data Protection Officer (CDPO), Certified in Cybersecurity (CC),
industry Professional (PCIP), ISO 27001 and 27701 Lead Auditor, Certification
in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and
Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
Aside from his extensive working experience with publicly listed international companies as an IT security, data privacy and compliance professional for over 15 years, he continually shares his expertise as conference speaker every year since 2010, and has spoken to date in over 60 national and international conferences, including the conferences of the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics, the Institute of Internal Auditors, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, the Information Systems and Control Association (ISACA) and the Payment Card Industry (PCI). He is a member or officer of several major professional and international organizations such as the lIA, ISACA and Toastmasters International, a global public speaking organization where he was awarded the Distinguished Toastmaster designation or DTM. He also wrote articles for the Compliance and Ethics Professional magazine and the llA, and is currently an article reviewer for ISACA.
Ralph completed his bachelor's degree and MBA from the University of the
Philippines and the Ateneo de Manila University, respectively. He currently
works as IT security and compliance professional for a major publicly traded
international vacation ownership company based in Orlando, Florida.
